Easy to clean and use - the water reservoir unscrews from the base, making all parts easy to access and clean. To fill, simply hold the reservoir upside down and pour water in through the wide opening. Once filled, screw the base back into place and flip the unit so it's right-side up. PERKY-PET® recommends replacing the water every few days to ensure freshness, as well as cleaning the waterer every couple weeks with a mild soap and water solution, rinsing thoroughly.
